Armenian Society of Fellows - Vatche Sahakian

As we have shared, HyeConnect has been actively engaged with different Armenian communities that we have invited to our platform. One such organization that we have been in close touch with is the Armenian Society of Fellows (ASOF, https://asof.am). ASOF’s main mission is “to help raise Armenia’s educational and research institutions to world-class levels, and to network them globally.” ASOF Board member Prof. Vatche Sahakian has been exploring HyeConnect as a tool that best suits their workflow, for helping develop the Society's goals, which also align with HyeConnect’s mission. Throughout the course of our collaboration with Prof. Sahakian, his feedback has been useful to objectively identify HyeConnect’s strengths as a community tool for networked collaborations. Prof. Sahakian openly shared his excitement with us regarding the platform’s concept. He thinks that many Armenian organizations will eventually move to HyeConnect because there is no equivalent tool that is adapted to the needs of Armenian communities. Prof. Sahakian said, “What you have developed is excellent and has great promise.”  Besides the process of engagement, we appreciate the thoroughness of Vatche’s attitude very much, how he goes into every case and detail, creates records, and shares them with us. This kind of approach is more than we could ever expect from our beta users.
